As Muslims across the world prepare to celebrate this year's Eld Al Adha Festival, the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared a two day nationwide holiday to allow the celebrants enjoy the festival.


The Federal Government of Nigeria declared Friday June 6th and Monday June 9th as the public holiday to mark the 2025 Eld Al Adha Festival.


Muslims across the world will celebrate Eld Al Adha on Friday June 6th being the 10th day of the  month of Dhul Hijjah, 1446 in the hijri (Islamic) calendar.


Workers and students are exoected to stay away from offices and schools during this holiday while essential workers are always exempted from full implementation of any holiday in the country.
