Dario Essugo, born on March 14, 2005 in Odivelas, Portugal is an exceptionally talented young footballer who plays as midfielder for his former clubs.

Chelsea Football Club has landed the midfielder in a contract that will last in 2033.

Dario Essugo started his football career at the football academy of Sporting Clube Dé Portugal (Sporting CP) or otherwise known as Sporting Lisbon, which is based in Lisbon, Portugal.  

Dario Essugo joined Sporting football academy at the age of nine and rose through ranks to become an indispensable midfielder.

In a March 2021 match against Vitoria Dé Guimaraes, Dario Essugo became the youngest player to play for Sporting CP's senior team at the age of 16 years and six days.

At 16 years, 11 months and 17 days, Dario Essugo broke the record of Luis Figo, becoming the youngest starter for Sporting Lisbon.

Dario Essugo has played, on loan, for Primeira Liga side Chaves and Spanish Laliga club Las Palmas where he scored one goal in 27 appearances.

Dario Essugo is an exceptional midfielder who can play and deliver at different midfield positions, including centre midfield and attacking midfield.

Dario Essugo, 20, is excellent in ball control, passing range accuracy, and vision. However, he may have to work more on netting as his goal per match rating remains unexceptional even though he is a midfielder.
