Oby Ezekwesili Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has accused former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili of enjoying sympathy with mutual sympathy with the proscribed terrorist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Omokri linked his allegation to the silence maintained by Ezekwesili when some IPOB members were arrested and linked to a recent attack on U.S embassy staff and poli officers.
Omokri who was not satisfied with Ezekwesili's over tye attack, and the subsequent arrest of the IPOB members stated that "Now that IPOB/ESN members have been arrested for perpetrating the deadly attack on a U.S. Embassy convoy that killed multiple U.S. embassy staff and policemen, we can now understand why Oby Ezekwesili did not condemn the killings, which happened in her own state and near her own local government area, even as she is known for quickly condemn killings that occur outside the Southeast.
Omokri said Ezekwesili's refusal to condemn the ill-action by IPOB as she always do if the incidence has happened in other part of the country indicates that they have something in common.
"IPOby Ezekwesili could not condemn it because she knows where her sympathies lie. After all, dogs don't eat dogs," Reno Omokri said.
Omokri further revealed that this would not be the first time Ezekwesili would be displaying her sympathy for the terrorist IPOB group. He recalled an incidence where she quickly rushed to tye street condemning a mob atta k that occured in the North whereas she was dumb when an alike occurrence occured in her Southeastern region.
He said: "This is the same Oby that danced naked in the streets when Deborah Samuel was burnt to death, but has remained silent TILL TODAY after a pregnant Northerner from Adamawa, Harira Jubril, was killed by unknown gunmen in broad daylight, with her four underaged daughters, Fatima, 9; Khadijah, 7; Hadiza, 5; and Zaituna, 2.
"The same Oby that rolled on the floor in front of Aso Rock over #BringBackOurGirls. Yet, she never condemned the killing of Ahmed Gulak on May 31, 2021, or the multiple kidnappings and killings of civilians, military and paramilitary personnel all over the Southeast.
"This is the person who falsely accused the Southwest of "ethnic baiting" against Igbos during #NigerianElections2023, yet said nothing of the videos of people being attacked for daring to vote for either the PDP or Labour Party in the Southeast.
Omokri called on the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria and the State Department in Washington, DC to pay close attention to Ezekwesili and her behaviour during this saga.
