Recall that late yesterday, President Tinubu declared a State of Emergency Rule in Rivers State amidst rising tension in the state.
The restiveness was a result of a prolonged hostility between former Governor of Rivers State and incumbent Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and his successor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The crisis had plunged the state into comatose with the Executive arm of government going again the state legislatures.
With the enforcement of the State of Emergency Rule, the President recommended the suspension of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara; his Deputy, and all the members of the Rivers State House of Assembly who have been entangled in the political crisis.
