Benue State has been trending for the past few hour for various developments surrounding the recent farmers-herders crisis in the state which has led to the killing of about 200 people.

Among the latest developments from the state is the indefinite suspension of Mr. Lubem Terkura who popularly addressed himself as Tersoo Kula (aka Aluta General),  the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor Hyacinth Alia.

Reason for Mr. Tersoo Kula 's Suspension by Gov Alia

According to a statement released by the state government, Mr. Tersoo Kula was suspended following his recent action which translated to gross misconduct, breach of trust the Governor had in him, and working against the government of the state.

Mr. Tersoo Kula was said to have taken part in a massive protest calling for an end to the incessant killing of the people of the state by criminal herders. The protest was organized after the latest killing of about 200 residents of the state by the criminal herders.

The government of the state under the leadership of Governor Rv. Father Hyacinth Alia condemned Mr. Tersoo Kula 's action, claiming it betrayed the trust his principal had in him.

What Does Mr. Tersoo Kula 's Suspension Mean?

According to the standing government's directive, Mr. Tersoo Kula had stopped to be the Governor's spokesperson, with immediate effect with warning that he should never attempt to identify himself anywhere with any entity that has to do with the Offices he previously occupied.
