As the Iranian Israeli rift escalates beyond expectations, people are looking at the chances of the Iranian military force to overcome the United States of America recalling that USA has decided to take the war into their head, sighting a weaker Israel at the front of Iran.

Recall that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, recently threatened to take Iranian capital city of Tehran out of this planet if it fails to accept the peace deal he extended to the country.

Responding to the Trump's threat, Iranian leaders have floored the American threats, insisting America shouldn't take Iran for countries that fear their noise.

Iran's rejection of American threats has triggered people thinking about the military bases of the two nations, and the proximity of Iran withstanding the United States of America at war, weighing their claims of military forces.

Iran vs American War Chests?

To determine whether Iran can withstand and defeat America at war or not, it is good to first look at their military capacities, capabilities, advancements and superiorities.

The United States of America boasts if $916 billion military budget surpassing Iran's $10 billion military budget by far. 

United States also boasts of having 1.3 million active military personnel surpassing Iran's 587,000 military personnel.

While America has 13,175 aircraft and 20 aircraft carriers, Iran has 1,052 aircraft with no aircraft carrier.

Interestingly, those are some of the technological advancements America has over Iran but it doesn't mean Iran is no where match the American military forces as it also has its advantages over America in some instances.

For instance, Iran boasts of about 1,000 ballistic missiles, while America doesn't have such.

Iran has about 328 war drone,  no record has showed America can match that.

Strategically, Iran can boast of having large number of proxy forces like Hezbollah,, Taliban's etc which could disrupt the concentration of America's forces on Iran if they should go into full scale war.

Chances of winning at Iran vs America War

No doubt, America has both technological and numerical superiority over Iran but Iranian Asymmetric Warfare may push the chances of winning the war by either side to the centre, although causing regional provocations, geopolitical destabilisation and severe intercontinental damage but no victory for either side.

Although it will be very difficult for some people to agree Iran vs America at warfront may stand in the balance, it has been evidenced that Afghanistan which is far below the military capability of Iran, did not only defeated the combination of NATO and United States of America, it forced America to abandoned its $7 billion military equipment at warfront and ran for their lives, in 2021 using the same Asymmetric warfare.
