Against the available information in the public domain, Olusola Faleye, the Personal Assistant to the late Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO) of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, did not beg the late Bank CEO nor reject the offer to join the crashed helicopter on their ways to Nevada in the United States of America.

Wigwe, his wife, son, and business partner died alongside two crew members in the helicopter crash that occurred in the U.S.A.

Although some people have speculated that Faleye begged his boss, Wigwe, to take him along to the U.S. trip which they claimed Wigwe rejected; the latest information shows that Faleye traveled with his boss to the U.S.A.

Also, another speculated piece of information stated that Wigwe asked Faleye to come along with them in the helicopter but Faleye complained about the weather and decided to use the road.

However, in a new development, Ovation International Magazine CEO, Delẹ Momodu gave a different account of how Faleye escaped the death.

In the information posted on his social media timeline, Dele Momodu said, "Thank God for the life of our brother, Olusola Faleye of Ipoti Ekiti, the P.A. to Herbert Wigwe.

"Good day everyone, we thank God for the life of Sola Faleye; he had close contact with death but God spared him. We thank God.

"My people I want to use this medium to let everyone know the truth which was contrary to what the media reported.

"Sola never disobeyed his boss, he never rejected to travel with the chopper, he never complained about the weather, he never offered to use another means to travel, his name was on the chopper's manifest, meaning he was to go with the chopper, however, they had a lot of luggage packed in a van which was to be used at their final destinations. The bags and pieces of baggage could not fit into the chopper, so they resorted to the driver of the van to drive 5 hours with the van to Nevada, their last destination.

"At this point, Sola offered to ride with the van to be able to watch over the driver and their pieces of luggage, and the boss consented to the request. That was how it was before the unfortunate incident. God, please console the families..."

In a related news, Nigeria born investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo suggested that Mr. Wigwe was killed by some people she described as his close allies.
