Former leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Osun State, Kazeem Oyewale, who is popularly known as Asiri Eniba has denied the rumour that is making waves that he has been arrested and remanded in a prison. He stated that he stayed away from Osun State because he wants peace to reign in the state.

Asiri Eniba is speculated to have been arrested and remanded in prison, the speculation that he debunked in a video clip that trended on various social media platforms, most especially Whatsapp.

In the video clip that played for 2 minutes and 21 seconds, Asiri Eniba lamented that "since the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, took over the affair of the State, political thugs who are loyal to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been fomenting troubles in the state."

He alleged that about five of his people have been killed by the PDP thugs, since November 27th, 2022 when the PDP government was sworn in, in Osun State. He lamented that there is none of the PDP members in the state that could establish any allegations of frustration in their life by APC when former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola was in power.

Unfortunately, among the five people that were said to have been allegedly killed in Osun State by PDP thugs was a blood brother of Asiri Eniba, who was identified as Sheriff Oyewale, brother of the same mother, the same father as Asiri.

He said "among those people killed by PDP thugs in Osun State was my blood brother of the same mother, the same father. I bear Kazeem Oyewale, he bears Sheriff Oyewale. He was killed by PDP thugs and his remain was not released.

He stated that "the PDP thugs also killed one of his followers who is popularly known as My Friend who was kidnapped by the PDP thugs from his house in Arikalam area, Osogbo."

He said, "they burnt his remains after they killed him."

He also alleged that the PDP thugs in Osun also killed another of his followers, who he simply identified as Kazeem. He said he lives in Ilobu, a neighbouring town to Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

"When my Office was being attacked by the PDP miscreants, I informed the then Commissioner of Police and he promised to send his boys to my office for investigation and prevention of further attack, but unfortunately, while I thought those that gained entrance to my Office were Police Officers, they later turned to the PDP thugs. They shot me severally that it was God that saved my life. I left the state because I don't want crises and I don't want to waste people's life. I called on the Inspector General of Police and Director of the Department of State Service to look into the situation in Osun and restore peace to the state. It is unfortunate to note that everyone being attacked in Osun is a member of APC. Once the PDP thugs know your house, they will just come and attack you," Asiri Eniba lamented.
