President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have expressed surprise and excitement as the newly inaugurated President of the country, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Gave matching order on the feud happening between the Lagos State commands of the Department of State Service (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
It could be recalled that the Round Table had earlier reported that DSS blocked and restraint operatives of the EFCC from accessing their Lagos State Office today. DSS was said to have claimed that the portion being occupied by the EFCC belongs to them. However, EFCC said they have coexist in the same office with DSS for the past two decades with no feud.
Reacting to the incident, President Bola Tinubu directed the Department of State Security Service to immediately vacate the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The President gave the directive when reports that DSS officials stormed the EFCC office located on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday, preventing officials of the anti-graft agency from accessing their work place, was brought to his attention.
The President said if there were issues between the two important agencies of government, they would be resolved amicably.
The swift reaction to the feud between DSS and EFCC by President Tinubu surprised the citizens as they expressed their happiness towards the action taken by the President.
