Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of the founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide popularly known as Winners Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo has dumped his father's church and begun to nurse a new Church Ministry.
Pastor Isaac was formerly a serving pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, United States of America's chapter. He was later recalled back to Nigeria to serve as the Global Youth Pasture of the church.
Pastor Isaac was argued by many members of the Church at the headquarters to be radical, this seems to have influenced his decision to dump his father's church and begin to nurture a new ministry where he would not be under the control of anyone.
At a recent church session, Pastor Isaac said "My God-given mandate is to reclaim a generation and to ensure this generation sees the fire of God’s revival in our generation." This may be a hint to his exit from his father's church.
Although it has not been felt, there is a fear that Isaac's decision to form a new Church will cause a great loss to his father's church because the majority of the current members of the Winners Chapel may dump his father's church and follow him to nurture the new ministry.
The Authority of Winners Chapel International has not announced Isaac's decision to his father's church but the church would be compelled to do so, soon.
