Meet The Dinka Tribe, Known To Have The Tallest People In The World

The tallest people in Africa are not the Tutsi from Rwanda, nor the nationals of Ethiopia. These people are located in South Sudan and are known as the people of Dinka. If you travel to south Sudan you will be amazed at the height of this native sudanese. They are more than 6 ft tall, in fact you will end up being a dwarf if you stand next to them.

The Dinka people live along the Nile and are the largest ethnic group in south Sudan. They have an ample diaspora community abroad. 'Dinka' means people and it is one of several Nilotic language of the eastern sudanic dation. It is written in Latin alphabets with a few extensions.

As a result of clashes and undernutrition the stature of the modern Dinkas is lower, but that dosen't mean there are not the tallest in Africa. There is still a contemplation that they are the tallest in the world as opposed to the Europeans who are said to be very tall generally. Some surveys of comparative height data have positioned the Dinka as the tallest people in the world.

They have no central political leadership, but they have autonomous clans who are interlinked. Some of the clans are in charge of producing ceremonious chiefs and head hunters.
