Suspects and the Exhibit Law Enforcement Agents in Zimbabwe have arrested a woman, whose name is withheld, for killing her boyfriend and attempting to dispose of the body, alongside an accomplice, a man.
According to a briefing by the Vehicle Tracking Unit of the Zimbabwean Police Force, the lady was challenged by the law enforcement agents who were on patrol and sighted her with a strange briefcase.
On citing the Police Patrol Van, the lady abandoned the briefcase and escaped from the Police. However, her identity has been verified by her accomplice because she accidentally left her National Passport behind before escaping from the police officers.
When the Police opened the suspicious briefcase, the corpse of a male person was discovered with the head cut off from the body.
The Police therefore arrested her accomplice who confessed that the corpse in the bag was his accomplice’s boyfriend and they were heading toward a local burial ground around Benoni to dispose of the body of the late boyfriend.
The incident which occurred on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at Wattville in Benoni has left many people unsettled as the Police continue to hunt for the prime suspect to face a murder case.
