The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Limited) has reacted to the trending hike in pump Price of the Premium Motor Spirits (PMS) in the country. The corporation, in an official statement released by the Chief Corporate Communications, Garba Deen Muhammad confirmed that the corporation has approved an increment in the PMS pump Price a Ross the nation.
The increment in the pump price of PMS has caused the netizens to compare the price of petrol in Nigeria and the neighboring countries.
As at May 31st, 2023 the pump price 9f PMS in the Federal Republic of Nigeria stands between N485 and N523.
In Mali, a litre of petrol is being sold for N652 while a litre of petrol is sold for N614 in Ivory Coast. In Cameroon, a litre of petrol is sold at 552 while Ghanians buy a litre of petrol at 533.
Togolese purchased a litre of petrol at 527 while motorists in Benin Republic buy a litre of PMS at 489.
