Nigerian anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has opened its Ilorin Zonal command with the vision to take its Anti-Corruption campaign closer to the emirates people of Ilorin.
With the commission of the Ilorin Zonal command of the EFCC, the Anti-Corruption agency will now have well-feathered wings to clamp on corrupt people within the jurisprudence of the command.
The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, this morning, December 21, 2023, joined the Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Mr Ola Olukoyede to commission the new office complex of the Ilorin Zonal Command of the EFCC.
Among other dignitaries at the event is the executive Governor of Kwara State, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq; the Chief Judge of Kwara State, Hon. Justice Abiodun Adebara; Comptroller of Nigeria Correctional Service, Adebayo Oyun; the Director, of Public Affairs Department, DCE Wilson Uwujaren; S.A to the Minister of Justice, Rotimi Oyedepo, SAN; Ilorin Zonal Commander, Michael Nzekwe.
Others at the colorful event are the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alh. Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari; a foremost Nigerian Industrialist and the Jagunmolu of Igbaja, Alhaji Abdulraheem Oladimeji; Vice Chancellor of the Al-Hikma University, Prof Noah Yusuf.
