Wizkid music break
Nigerian popular music star, Ayodeji Balogun who is widely known as Wizkid has announced a long-time break from the music industry. He may spend between four and five years before coming back on the musical stage for performances.

Wizkid who made this known in a series of Instagram posts hinted he might turn to playing football, golf, or wrestling during his five-year stay away from the music industry.

Going by his statement, Wizkid may quit the music industry forever if he chooses and succeed in football. However, he emphasized that during four to five years of his stay away from the music industry, he will create time to enjoy the money he has earned from the industry.

Wizkid's Instagram posts read:

“Back in 4 years, make una papa chop him money small or maybe five or I fit still go dey play ball now.

“Or make I start dey play golf. Fifa or wrestling b*tch!”All of una dey craze! Everybody dey mad.

“On some G shit, I hope you mofuckas alright body mind and soul and taking time out to enjoy with your loved ones.”

Although this is the longest holiday to be taken by Wizkid since he made it into the music industry, this is not his first time taking a break from the industry. He had gone on holidays for weeks and even months in the past.

Wizkid may be expected back on stage in 2027 or 2028 when he will be 37 or 38 years old. Considerably, he will still be young enough to make a fresh debut in the music industry.
