Tinubu receives Super Eagles teams President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has rained gifts ranging from National honors to luxuries on the Super Eagles team for their great performance at the just concluded Cote d'Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
President Tinubu who received the team today at the Aso Rock, appreciated their performance at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The President, in appreciation, assigned the National Award, Member of the Order of Niger (MON) Award to the entire Super Eagles team including the players and the management team members.
President Tinubu also ordered a gift of one residential unit of house, at their preferred location, in Nigeria for the Super Eagles team, including the players and the management team members.
President Tinubu who was overwhelmed with the performance of the Super Eagles team at the Africa Cup of Nations also rained a gift of a plot of land for each member of the Super Eagles team in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Nigeria Super Eagles finished runner-up to the host nation, Cote D'Ivoire in a 2-1 scoreline at the just concluded AFCON 2023.
