Godwin Obaseki A Special Adviser to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on strategy, performance, and project monitoring, Sarah Ajose-Adeogun has resigned from her appointment.
Ajose-Adeogun unveiled her resignation from the Governor Obaseki-led Executive Council in Edo State via a Facebook post submitted on her timeline.
She wrote “l came, l saw and l conquered,” on her Facebook timeline to announce she has departed from the tracks of Governor Obaseki's administration.
Until Ajose-Adeogun was appointed as Special Adviser to Governor Godwin Obaseki, she was a former senior manager with the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited.
Ajose-Adeogun's resignation from the Executive Council of Edo State under the leadership of Governor Obaseki is the second in a row following a recent resignation tendered by Andrew Okungbowa, the former Chief Press Secretary of the Governor.
Although there is uncertainty about the political development that will be cooking in Edo State politics leading to the rising profile of resignations by political appointees of Governor Obaseki from the Edo State Executive Council, the forthcoming Governorship election in the state may not be unconnected to the development.
