Seyi Makinde Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Oyo State Governorship election, Governor Seyi Makinde has been declared winner of the election.
Governor Seyi Makinde won his second term reelection with 563,756 votes against his closest rival, Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 256,685 votes. Adebayo Adelabu of the Accord Party polled 38,757 to come third.
Seyi Makinde's victory was declared at 3:31 PM.
The collection of the results took place at Mutiu Agboke Collation Centre, Oyo INEC headquarters, Agodi, Ibadan.
