Governor Dauda Lawal Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal who is regarded as the richest Governor in Nigeria, has gone around the sites of some abandoned projects in the Gusau capital city of the State.
Governor Dauda Lawal who is said to be worth Nine trillion nairas (about 12 million dollars) both in cash and assets has toured some areas in the state capital, Gusau where he promised to build standard roads.
Reporting on his state capital tour, Governor Dauda Lawal said "In a bid to provide our people with the adequate infrastructure they deserve, I did a site survey for the construction of standard roads in Gusau town with members of Ronchees Global PLC.
Governor Dauda also visited the abandoned site of the state's cargo airport where he vow to review and deliver the airport project before his administration runs out.
"I also visited the abandoned cargo airport site located along Kaura Namoda LG Road, Governor Dauda insisted. The condition of the cargo airport is worrisome, as the work done at the site is barely up to 10%. My administration is determined to review and complete the project as part of our plans for the Urban Renewal project.
