The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) has distanced itself from an online publication with the caption “Lagos State Primary Health Care Board Recruitment 2023/2024 Application Portal”, published by vacancy.org.ng on its social media platforms.
The Permanent Secretary of LSPHCB, Dr. Ibrahim Mustafa debunked the story in its entirety, maintaining that the blog post did not emanate from the Agency and that the publisher(s) of the online news platform never had any contact with any staff of the Board.
Dr. Mustafa also noted that the publication is likely to be the handiwork of fraudsters who wish to defraud prospective members of the public that are probably seeking employment with the State Government.
He, however, advised Lagos residents to be wary and careful of such publications, especially when it does not emanate from the Lagos State Government or any of the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) official websites.
In his words, “The Lagos State Government is the largest public service employer in Nigeria after the Federal Government but prospective employees should not jump at any job publication that is not from official sources. Lagos State Government would not ask anyone to pay money to be employed in the Public Service”.
He pointed out that it is only through the State Government official sources that the public can obtain credible information, stressing that any individual/organisation caught in the act of disseminating unconfirmed information to the public will face the consequences according to the Laws enshrined in the Constitution of Nigeria and the State.
