Government to Demolish 33 Churches for Land Grabbing

Kenya news
Demolished Building
The government of Kenya has concluded plans to demolish about 33 churches that were suspected to have been built on portions of land that were illegally acquired by the churches.

The administration of President Ruto of Kenya has recently embarked on the reclaiming and demolition of portions of land that were said to have been forcefully acquired by some government officials in the past and were later sold to innocent citizens and religious organizations.

In the past few days, several citizens have lost their houses to the ongoing demolition because they purchased the land from land grabbers who forcefully took possession of the land that originally belonged to the government of the country.

In the early hours of today, the government of Kenya decided to bring down 33 churches that were resolved to have been built on the portions of land that originally belonged to the country.

While many citizens are praising the government of Kenya for taking bold steps to restore sanity to the country some citizens condemn the government’s decision claiming that it is an attempt by the current government officials to forcefully collect and allocate the land to themselves.
