Ataoja of Osogbo. Photo Credit: Daily Post Executive Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has approved the appointment of Oyetunji Tijani Oyedeji, who is a biological son of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji.
Oyedeji was appointed as the Personal Assistant to the Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye.
Oyedeji's appointment could be cited as a compensation to the supports given to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the July 16th, Governorship election in Osun State by the Royal Father of Osogbo, Oba Larooye Jimoh Oyetunji.
It could be recalled that there were several video clips that trended online, during the last governorship election in Osun State, where Ataoja of Osogbo was cited unveiling his support for PDP and Ademola Adeleke's governorship ambition.
Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji is also seen in the like video campaigning against all the sons of Osogbo who are contesting under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). He noted that those sons of Osogbo who are in power in APC are not fruitful to him.
