Femi Gbajabiamila The freshly appointed Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu who doubles as an outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. (rt) Femi Gbajabiamila has reacted to his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
In a message tweeted on his official Twitter handle, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila thanked the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu for finding him worthy of the appointment.
"Thank you Mr. President @officialABAT for finding me worthy of being your Chief of Staff," Hon. Gbajabiamila stated.
Hon. Gbajabiamila recounted his experience and political accomplishment over the past 20 years and promised to deploy his political wisdom to discharge the task of his new appointment for a better Nigeria to be actualized.
Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila said "Having spent the last 20 years in the Nigerian Parliament, and after winning my 6th term election into the National Assembly, I shall work with Mr President in discharging the enormous task ahead of him for the peace and progress of the federal republic of Nigeria.
He however stated that he will resume office on June 14, 2023, as stated in his letter of appointment.
"I shall give my best when I take office on June 14 2023 as reflected in Mr. President's official letter," he stated.
The reason for his resumption date may not be unconnected to the fact that he is currently a Speaker of the House of Representatives and may need to serve the purpose till the 10th Assembly will reconvene any time before June 14, his resumption date.
