Elom Musk XMail Owner of the microblogging social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk has intensified his thirst to overthrow the leaders of various Internet of Thing giants including Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Larry Page of Alphabet, and Sundar Pichai of Google.
The only main manufacturer of electric cars, Elon Musk, after rebranding X to give uppercut to the likes of Facebook, his new email service, XMail, is considered a major threat to the giant of email service providers, Gmail which has been one of the most successful, and everlasting products of Google, after its search engine, Google Search.
Recall that Elon Musk also rebranded X to make provisions for a win-win blogging system, which many microbloggers who could not make it to the Google AdSense and Facebook monetization have adopted as the best alternative.
Musk on his social media platform, X, confirmed the upcoming arrival of XMail. However, he didn't share more about its features, release date, or cost but suggested it would be connected with the X app.
Elon Musk is known for always coming with rare features and this could be seen in his reformed X where he introduced podcasts to threaten all existing internet radio, e-meeting platforms including Zoom and Google Meeting, and video hosting platforms, including YouTube. Hence, great features could be expected from the emerging XMail.
Amid worries among Gmail users, a false picture circulated, suggesting Google would shut down its email service by August 2024.
Shared widely on X and other social media, it caused confusion and anger. Google promptly clarified the rumor, assuring users that Gmail isn't going anywhere. They also mentioned recent interface updates to enhance user experience.
