There is no gainsaying in recalling how President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has contributed immensely to the political development in Lagos State since 1999. He has been unequivocally described as the sole decider on who becomes what in the politics of Lagos since 1999.
President Bola Tinubu was hosted into a state service, having in presence, the three men who succeeded him as Governor of Lagos State, including the incumbent Governor of the State, Akinwunmi Ambode.
At the event organized by the Lagos State Government which marked the first visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the State, after becoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, former governors of the State, Babatunde Raji Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode joined the incumbent Governor Babajide Sawoolu to host former Lagos State and President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state reception.
People expressed their happiness towards the event seeing Ambode amid his boss, Bola Tinubu years after Ambode left power as Lagos State Governor on one term bid.
