A serving female member of the Nigerian graduate youths scheme, National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Fatima Sa'ad Mai Dawa, has reportedly gone missing in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Fatima was said to have left home for her NYSC final clearance on Friday, February l6th, 2024 after which she never returned home.
Fatima's final clearance was supposed to be done at Art and Culture Area 10 Garki, Abuja, where she left her home but never returned.
However, our source was not fully aware if she was ever sighted at the place of the clearance, and whether she did the clearance before her whereabouts became unknown.
However, the security situation of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has become worse in recent times as cases of kidnapping for ransom and armed robbery soared.
The Federal Government of Nigeria had informed all its security agencies, especially, the Nigeria Police Force, to scale up their effort to combat the insecurity challenges and this has led to some major arrests of some suspected criminals in the Federal Capital City of Nigeria.
NYSC is mandated for all Nigerian graduates to inculcate discipline in Nigerian youths by instilling in them a tradition of industry at work and of patriotic and loyal service to Nigeria in any situation they may find themselves.
