Young Man Arrested for Stealing Ram in Lafia
Suspected Ram Thief
A young man has been arrested in Kurikyo, Lafia LGA of Nasarawa State for allegedly stealing a ram.

The suspect who was named Mohammed Tanko, a resident of Anguwan Gayam was said to have slaughtered the stolen ram before he was arrested by some residents of the community.

According to an eyewitness, the suspect was handed over to security for appropriate actions after he was “thoroughly beaten”.

The suspect who had confessed to the crime on Sunday said he stole the ram to meet his personal needs.

Mr Mohammed who decried the harsh economic realities in the country begged for mercy and promised to desist from criminal acts.
