The former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has landed in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State despite threats from some loyalists of the State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Recall that the political imbroglio between Wike and Governor Fubara has degenerated into a reshuffling of various political alignment and realignment in the state.

Being a political godson to Nyesom Wike, Governor Fubara has gained supports of the majority of political opponents to Wike because of his recent rift with his political godfather.
