Nyesom Wike The former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has landed in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State despite threats from some loyalists of the State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Recall that the political imbroglio between Wike and Governor Fubara has degenerated into a reshuffling of various political alignment and realignment in the state.
Being a political godson to Nyesom Wike, Governor Fubara has gained supports of the majority of political opponents to Wike because of his recent rift with his political godfather.

Recall that the Round Table earlier reported that a female Federal lawmaker from the state, Boma Goodhead, dare Nyesom Wike to visit the state.

Visiting Rivers State, today, Nyesom Wike was accompanied by Senator Barry Mpigi, Senator Allwell Onyesoh, Minister of State, Petroleum, Heineken Lokpobiri, Rivers State House of Assembly Members, some Local Government Area Chairmen, Executive Director Finance and Administration of the NDDC, Alabo (Hon) Boma Iyaye Esq; Elder Ferdinand Alabraba; Mayor of Port Harcourt City, Hon Allwell Ihunda, among other dignitaries.
