Emilio Nsue Reasons have emerged, disturbing though, why the Equatoguinean federation (Feguifut) suspended its all-time best player, Emilio Nsue, indefinitely after the national team crashed out of the Cote D'Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Recall that it has been previously reported that Equatorial Guinea striker Emilio Nsue has been suspended indefinitely by the country's football federation.
Although the Equatoguinean federation (Feguifut) did not give a clear reason for its decision on Nsue's indefinite suspension, The Round Table recalls the Feguifut claimed it accused Nsue of involvement in "several episodes of serious indiscipline" during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Unfortunately, reacting to his ordeal with the Feguifut, Nsue accused leaders of the national football body of corruption and financial scandal.
Nsue, who spoke in a live Instagram session, accused Feguifut of embezzling over one million euros, €1 million, from the prize won by the national team at AFCON.
Besides, Nsue accused Feguifut of having unpaid debt at the Malabo hotel where they lodged the players which caused the hotel management to harass and disgraced the players out of the hotel premises.
He also accused Feguifut of poor management and maltreatment of the player as he claimed each of his teammates personally paid for the equipment used in the National team.
Recall that Equatorial Guinea played against Nigeria on Matchday one, Nsue claimed that the team's kits were not ready before the match, so each of the players personally looked for alternatives spending their money.
Nsue, however, vows that he will not be available for team selection again if the leaders do not change because he cannot accept humiliation like this.
Reacting to the development, Nigerians who have criticized the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), a d previously rated them the worst in the world made a sudden turn and concluded the NFF is still learning work in the hands of other African nations.
The scenario has caused many Africans to ask themselves the same question, "Who cursed Africa" as corruption sees uniform.
