President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's card for Super Eagles President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has congratulated the senior Nation players of the country, Super Eagles, over their brilliant performance at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) taking place in Cote D'Ivoire.
Nigeria's Super Eagles defeated the Bafana-Bafana of South Africa with 4 goals to 2, although in the penalties shoot-out.
South Africa had held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in the normal halves as extra time witnessed no goal for either side.
Reacting to the Super Eagles' brilliant performance in the competition, President Tinubu said:

With the outcome of the semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa, Nigeria is the first country to qualify for the final match as it awaits anyone who wins in the semi-final match between Cote D'Ivoire and the Republic of Congo.
Vice President Kashim Shettima was present at the Stade Bouaké Stadium, Cote D'Ivoire today to encourage Super Eagles players during the match.
The semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa marked the 12th football encounter between the two nations where South Africa has only won one match, with four draws; Nigeria won seven of the encounters.
