Rauf Aregbesola Speaking at a Radio Programme that was monitored by the Round Table, former State Chairman of The Osun Progressives (TOP), Lowo Adebiyi has stated that his caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State may float another political party and former Osun State Governor and ex-Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola will be recognized as their national leader.
Lowo Adebiyi stated this while responding to questions from the anchor of an open programme on Fresh FM 104.9Mhz where he was asked if they are ready to reunite and work with the main body of APC in the state.
TOP is a faction of Osun State APC which was floated by Rauf Aregbesola and his loyalists to work against the party during the 2022 governorship election in Osun State, and 2023 General Elections.
Elder Lowo Adebiyi said if the party (APC) refused to accommodate them they will create another progressive party, and recognize Aregbesola as their leader.
