Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Popular Yoruba Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, who is popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate has spoken about the economic hardships facing the country. He revealed this to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking him to do something, urgently, to address the economic woes.
K1 passed the message of hardships Nigerians are passing through, and their dissatisfactions toward the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the president in a stage play, whose track gained entrance into social media platforms.
In the stage play, K1 defied all the close relationships he has with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pleased with him to resolve the economic hardships and insecurity menace facing the country as cases of kidnapping increase across the country.
K1 informed President Tinubu about the agony that Nigerians go through, and how they cry and wail because of the hardships.
He said, "I plead with you to find a solution to the plight of the masses. The citizens are crying and wailing. We're suffering amid a lack of adequate power supply. How did things get to this point? I implore you to fix these problems."
He, however, asked those who are profiting from the suffering of the masses to bury their heads in shame.
Addressing Tinubu again, the musician asked him to "listen to the complaints of the masses and treat such complaints with all seriousness.
"We know you to be a philanthropist, but we Nigerians are angry. The people of Nigeria are angry.
"The traders in this country are not happy. Look at what the dollar has become (a reference to the exchange rate)," K1 said.
