Babajide Sanwoolu Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered his security details to arrest some traffic rule offenders in Lagos, today.
The Governor who was on his way to commission some projects in the state, came across motorcyclists taking one way against the lane of the Governor. He stopped his convoy and ordered his security officers to arrest the bike men although some of the motorcyclists abandoned their motorcycles and the passengers they carried, upon sighting the Governor's Convoy, and ran away.
While effecting the arrest order by the Governor the arrested bike riders approached the Governor to inform him he was a Lance Corporal in the Nigerian Army. The Governor replied him this was the more reason he should be arrested.
Governor Sanwoolu was heard telling one of the passengers, "Hey madam, you are a graduate and you allowed them taking you on a one-way… if you fall and you die, they will say Government killed you. What a shame!"

Akinola Temitope: If I were the girl, I would have used this moment judiciously to pass a message to the governor on the need to do more by creating more opportunities for young people to thrive in Lagos. I quite agree that a lot is being done but speaking up would have send a strong message.
