The spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga has stated that punishment awaits everyone tweeting falsehoods against the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Bayo Onanuga started this in a tweet submitted on his Twitter page in reaction to trending campaign of calumny against the new President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Onanuga said "All those sons of bitches tweeting the hashtags #TinubuTheDrugDealer
#TinubuForPrison, your days are numbered. One day, you will face the wrath of law and God for tweeting malicious falsehood about Nigeria's President-Elect.

Hashtags #TinubuTheDrugDealer, #TinubuForPrison, #Tinubu4Prison are among trending topics on Twitter space. The hashtags are being promoted by supporters of Bola Tinubu's political opponents who are still jealous of his electoral success, aggrieved and nursing grievances over his victory in the February 25th presidential election.

Onanuga warned that those Twitter users promoting the falsehoods against Bola Tinubu will soon face the wrath of law and God.

Presidential candidates of the Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar respectively have both petitioned the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal contending the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu I'm the February 25th Presidential election.
