Tesla Motors has reminded one of its customers of an obligation to pay a $50,000 fine for attempting to sell his Tesla Cybertruck.

Blaine Raddon from Salt Lake City had reserved a Tesla Cybertruck but opted to sell it because he has just moved to a new apartment with tight parking which will not accommodate the truck. This seems to have gone against an agreement he had with Tesla at the point of purchasing the truck.

"When he discovered the truck didn’t fit, he tried to return it. Tesla reminded him that his agreement forbids selling the truck within the first year, with a $50,000 fine and a ban on future Tesla purchases," our source claimed.

Although Raddon feels this is unfair, he won't challenge Tesla's decision legally. Tesla hasn’t responded to his appeal, leaving him waiting for a resolution.

The Tesla Cybertruck is available in three trims: the single-motor Rear-Wheel Drive (starting at $60,990), the dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (starting at $79,990), and the three-motor Cyberbeast (starting at $99,990).
