Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, both teenagers are facing murder charges before the Regional Justice Centre, Las Vegas after they deliberately ran their car into a former California Police Chief, Andreas Probst, who was riding his bicycle. The suspects were recording the incident when it was taking place.
Jesus Ayala was sighted smiling, raising his middle finger, pointing it to the wife and daughter of the late former California Police Chief, Andreas Probst.
As they waited for the commencement of the trial by the Regional Justice Centre in Las Vegas, Crystal Probst wife of the deceased, and Taylor Probst, daughter of the deceased were seen making eye contact with the suspects.
Jesus Ayala and Jzamir Keys were both charged with murder, attempted murder, failing to stop at the scene of a crash, battery, residential burglary, grand larceny of a vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
However, they have pleaded not guilty and appeared on Tuesday before District Judge Jacqueline Bluth, who set a November 16 trial date for the pair.
Crystal who felt irritated by Jesus Ayala's action, pointing finger in her direction has insisted that she would fight to get justice for her husband. She attended the court session putting in the smartwatch of his late husband, the one he wore when the incident occurred. She said the smartwatch signifies the presence of her husband with her.
