South African Police Illegal immigrants operating business activities in South Africa may soon lose their investment to the government of the country following a call from a politician in the country, Gayton McKenzie, who has called on the South African government to shut down all shops that are being operated by illegal foreigners in the country.
McKenzie alleged that the shops owned by illegal immigrants have been linked to the sales of substandard products, the activity McKenzie portrayed to have escalated to a matter of “life and death” for the country to act on.
McKenzie, in his calls, stated that “illegal foreigners” are supplying harmful products to the South African markets and the products have raised concerns as it is nothing different from intentionally flooding the South African markets with poisonous products including food items.
McKenzie said the harmful products have posed threats to the future of the country as many children have been killed after consuming the harmful products.
McKenzie’s has raised concerns in the country as many citizens have opened discussions and debates on his remarks. Some of the citizens were in total support of McKenzie’s remark while many believed that the state’s regulatory agency should develop a better approach to addressing the issue without abusing the freedom of the people.
