9200 UNIPORT Convocation Arena Rivers State Commissioner of special projects, Engineer Chukwuemeka Woke, FNSE, said that contractors handling projects in his ministry must adhere to approved project specifications otherwise necessary action would be taken.
The commissioner stated this during an inspection tour of 52 hectares Abbonema-Obonoma Sand Filling and land reclamation projects in Akuku-Toru local government area and Ultra modern convocation arena in University of Port Harcourt that is being built by the Rivers State government.
Engineer Woke said: "What is important, our administration is determined to continue with any ongoing project inherited from the previous administration. We are riding on the mantra of continuity and consolidation.

"These are some of the projects we inherited from the previous administration. They will be part of the projects we would be commissioning in the first 100 days in office."
On the 9,200 University of Port Harcourt ultra morden convocation arena, the Commissioner said, the Fubara's administration is determined to completing the project and hand it over to the University community.
The commissioner was accompanied on the inspection tour by Engineers from the Ministry of Special Projects.
