Mohbad and Dad Joseph Aloba, the biological father of the late Nigerian growing singer and rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, who was popularly known as Mohbad during his lifetime has continued to rock his son's clothes after his untimely demise.
The man also condemned members of the public who chose to sanction him for wearing his late son's clothes.
Joseph Aloba, who was reacting to some people's condemnation of wearing his late son's clothes, expressed calm with no disturbance as he claimed Mohbad is his son and he is free to wear the clothes that belong to his late son.
He was seen wearing some experience shirts that Mohbad had worn when he was alive, people noticed the scenes and raised diverse opinions. However, Mohbad's Dad insisted those not happy with his decision can say whatever they want.
Mohbad's Dad, Joseph, said “Mohbad is my son and I can wear his clothes, anybody who doesn’t like the fact that I'm wearing my late son’s clothes is free to say whatever rubbish they like.”
Mohbad died in 2023, a few months after his wife, Omowunmi gave to birth a baby boy. He was said to have died after receiving treatment from an unlicensed nurse after being diagnosed with ear infection.
Some of his colleagues when he was alive, including his boss, Naira Marley the owner of the parent music label, Martian Record Label under which Mohbad made his debut have been invited, detained, and questioned by the police who vowed to investigate the death of Mohbad at 27.
Reacting to Mohbad's Dad's decision to continue to wear the clothes of his late sons, some people disagreed with him, regarding the practice as an abomination while many others agreed with Joseph Aloba that no one else would wear the expensive clothes if he refused to rock the streets with them.
