Mallam Yusuf Sa'ad Vocational education has been described as one of the channels towards the promotion of self-reliance through the creation of different skills acquisition programs that reduce unemployment in Nigeria.
This was stressed by Mallam Yusuf sa'ad when our correspondent Jabiru Hassan visited some local keyholder industry at Kunnawa Majema in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, adding that local keyholder production has become an employment opportunity for their kids, especially at present when the globe is advancing in self-reliance.
"We are happy to inform you that our kids are now equipped with good knowledge on how to defend themselves like what you have seen and we are here with the children daily after school hours, and I assure you that the local keyholder production is a nice occupation that brings profits daily," he added.
In his remarks, Mallam Nasir Dalha announced that people of all categories are busy doing different business in Kunnawa Majema because the town is very popular in all kinds of hide and skin remodeling that are being exported to different countries.
He called on the federal, state, and local government councils to establish vocational training centers for the young generations and other categories of people to develop economic progress especially nowadays when there are need to switch to entrepreneurship at all levels.
