Crashed jet A private jet with about 10 people including some Very Important Personalities (VIPs) people onboard has crash-landed into the bush at the Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
Confirming the incident, a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Carol Adekotujo, said, told Channels News “It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty.
The private jet was said to be marked with registration number, N580KR, and reportedly crash-landed around 11 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan.
Another source revealed that the private jet crashed into the bush after missing its runway on landing at the Ibadan Airport. However, no life was reported lost in the crash.
