President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a closed-door meeting with the National Chairman of his political party, All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullah Umar Ganduje, and leaders of the party from Kano State.

Recall that the apex court in Nigeria, the Supreme Court of Nigeria, recently delivered judgment on the Kano State Governorship Election Petition upholding the victory of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) against the APC Governorship candidate in the election, Yusuf Gawuna, who had claimed he won the governorship election.

APC National Chairman, Ganduje was accompanied to the Aso Rock for the meeting by Yusuf Gawuna and other party stakeholders from Kano State.
