Nigeria Police Force, Lagos Command, has arrested an armed robbery gang with a specially made gun described as a "unique one" by the police.

The gas gun which was branded "Spyder Victor" was recovered from an arrested armed robbery squad by the Lagos State Police command.

Unfortunately, the arrested criminal insisted that he could not give a holistic profile of the fun claiming that their prime leader who has every detail about the strange gun has escaped arrest from the police.

The prime suspect who allegedly had detailed information about the gas gun was said to have escaped into the Lagos Lagoon during the arrest.

The gas gun, Spyder Victor, the first of its kind in Nigeria, was recovered from a suspected robber on Eko Bridge.

Police have, however, vowed to get him recovered from the lagoon for he may still be alive.

Lagos State Commissioner, Mr. Idowu Owohunwa, who paraded the suspect and other suspects, described the gun, as a unique gun, Spyder Victor, “We will get to the root of the matter. They were two suspects, but one jumped into the Lagoon from the Eko Bridge”.

The CP said he had never seen such a gun since he joined the force.
