Nigeria Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, paid a courtesy call to the Emir of Kano, His Highness Aminu Ado Bayero, at his palace in Kano.

Ahmed Musa captained the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the Cote D'Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, where the country finished runner-up to the winner and the host nation, Ivory Coast.

Ahmed Musa did not play any match throughout the competition but coach José Peseiro insisted he was of technical help to him during the competition.
