Mr. Peter Obi The debate on the competence of the two terms former Executive Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria seems not to have reached the final stage as a former Senior Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri runs a U.S $10,000 challenge on the incompetence of Mr. Peter Obi.
Mr. Reno Omokri had penned down a $10,000 reward for any of the supporters of Mr. Peter Obi who can name a school built by Mr Peter Obi when he was serving as the Executive Governor of Anambra State. It is almost 72 hours after the challenge has opened, and none of his supporters has been able to mention a school to claim the $10,000 reward penned down for the challenge.
Buttressing his point that Mr. Peter Obi is not operating at the level some of his supporters thought he was worth, Mr. Reno backed his perception with a claim by the Labour Party in 2013 before Mr. Peter Obi defected to the party and became the presidential candidate of the party in 2023.
Labour Party had insisted that Peter Obi was a failure as a Governor of Anambra State. The party claimed that Mr. Peter Obi only invested public funds to establish a brewery so Anambrarians could get drunk and forget to query his poor performance as a state.
According to an X on September 18, 2013, the Labour Party National Chairman maintained that "Only industry built by @Governor_Obi is a brewery so anambrarians can get drunk & forget his govts decay.
One of the followers of Mr. Peter Obi has however been pleading with the handler of the X handle to bring down the post to minimize the tarnish it may have on Mr. Peter Obi.
