Pastor Ezekiel Odero Court has granted Bail options of either Sh3 million bonf or Sh1.5 million cash to the embattled Pastor of the New Life Church Prayer Centre and Church, Ezekiel Odero.
Pastor Odero was recently arrested by the Police for allegedly causing the death of some Kenyans, deliberately. He was arrested over claims of religious indoctrination in his Mavueni church.
Pastor Odero was also alleged of making dubious money from the sales of fake anointing oils and miracles to his poor followers. He was said to have built a private mansion worth Sh1 billion with luxurious cars, including Lexus LX570 which he drove to the Police station when he was invited for questioning.
The government had early asked the court to remind Pastor Ezekiel for the next 30 days but his counsel argued against it, and the Shanzu Law Courts has released Pastor Ezekiel Odero on a Sh3 million bond or Sh1.5 million cash bail.
Many people have been reportedly killed by the religious campaign against medication that was being preached by Pastor Ezekiel.
