Osun State has lost another Local Government Caretaker, Alhaji Raheem Issa Sofoluwe, who was until his death, the caretaker Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government Area (main Council).
He was said to have died, a few minutes after he returned from the House of one of the leaders of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ejigbo, Hon. George Alabi, who happens to be the Commissioner for Land and Physical Planning in Osun State.
He paid homage to the Commissioner early in the day to wish him a Merry Christmas but was reported dead a few minutes after returning home.
Hon Raheem Issa Sofoluwe failed to get to the hospital before he gave to the ghost as he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital where he was rushed to.
He was said to have driven himself to and from the house of the commissioner although no report of eating or altercation with anyone as his death remains miserable.
He is the second local government chairmen to die a few months after the local government chairmen were inaugurated by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Hon Raheem Issa Sofoluwe, 48, has been buried at 4 PM according to the Islamic rights.
