Father Edeh Emmanuel and Madonna University Graduates The founder of Madonna University, Elele, Rivers State, Father Emmanuel Edeh had boasted that the school is the only higher institution in Nigeria that has its female students graduated with their flowers not yet plunked.
Father Edeh states this during the recent convocation and 25th anniversary of the institution
Father Edeh established Madonna University on May 10th, 1999 in Okija, Anambra State before the permanent campus was later moved to Elele, Rivers State, in 2004, under the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Madonna University, Nigeria is the first Private/Catholic University in Nigeria.
Madonna University, being the first private/Catholic university in Nigeria and a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), is proud of holding catholic ethos which gave birth to modern civilization, a cause traceable to the claim being made by Father Edeh.
Reacting to the claim, some Nigerians disagreed with After Edeh demanding how the university founder knew the female graduates were virgins.
Besides, some guys claimed that their fiancees are students of Madonna University, currently in the 200 level and 300 level, and they are not virgins. They wonder how the ladies would suddenly turn into virgins during graduation.
