Atiku, Obi and Tinubu US-based Nigerian politician, Mr. Reno Omokri has claimed that the suit that was filed by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi is a pathway for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Reno Omokri, in a series of tweets submitted to his handle, claimed that the person that came third in a National election cannot overtake the first runner-up.
Besides, Mr. Omokri recalled that since Mr. Peter Obi did not have 1/4th of the total votes cast in 2/3rd of the states, should Mr. Peter Obi be able to convince the court that Tinubu did not actually won the election, it would be a victory for Atiku Abubakar and his party, PDP would be the beneficiary of Peter Obi's suit against Tinubu.
Mr. Reno Omokri tweeted that "Peter Obi's petition is similar to fetching water for Atiku to drink! The #NigerianElections2023 is not like Imo's election. The INEC 3rd cannot become the court's 1st. If Bola Tinubu is displaced by Obi's petition, then very automatically, Atiku will be in place.
"Even if Peter Obi proves his claim that Tinubu didn't get the most legal votes and did not fulfill the 1/4 in 2/3rd requirement, the court will simply declare Atiku winner. We are very happy with Obi's petition. It's like fetching water for us," Reno Omokri stated.
