Wigwe University
The world was at a standstill a few months ago, when one of the hidden Nigerian billionaires, Herbert Wigwe, died in a helicopter crash that occurred in the United States of America.
Wigwe field as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings. He co-owned Access Bank Plc among other companies.
Wigwe, until his death, was unknown to many Nigerians except those who walked through the red carpet with him. Unlike other moneybags like Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Femi Otedola, Deji Adeleke, Jim Ovia, and a couple of other Nigerians who did not hide their wealth from the public, Wigwe's wealth became known to the average Nigerian after his demise.
That has happened, and it is passed, however, Wigwe's death led to some developments where family and friends unveiled what he had in the cargo for people's development.
Wigwe's large heart and all his pro-people welfare projects were mentioned during his burial. Among this is a University he was said to be building before his death.
Nigerians became confused and only had to resolve to God after reviewing the tuition fees of the same university for which Wigwe's heart was acclaimed to be large.
According to the information from the brand new Scholl, the tuition fees for Wigwe University, 2024/2025 Session are:
- College of Arts: N9.6 million per session
- College of Engineering: N11.9 million per session
- College of Management & Social Sciences: N11.9 million per session
- College of Science and Computing: N11.9 million per session
- Accommodation: N1 million per month or N3.5 million to N3.8 million per session.
Since this list was released to the public domain, people have been dragging the school claiming it is another version of the existing schools where some and daughters of the poor masses were forbidden to attend. Your take?
